Kinfolk to the Get of Fenris and active in werewolf business as a helper her whole life. The family is a very large one, the main branch still in the old country as it descended from a 13th century Scandinavian Alpha (literally everyone knows the story of Torgrim Holds-The-Line). That said Gunny's sunny disposition and helpful nature tend to get her regularly mistaken for a Child of Gaia.
While she's no stranger to the supernatural world, magic specifically was new. A couple years ago Gunny awakened as a mage and is part of the Verbena (Spirit/Life/Prime), a fact that she's not exactly 'out' with to her kinfolk family.
